Serendipity - A Family Bible found in a Charity Shop in Houston, Texas by an Ancestry Subscriber
The subscriber sent me a secure message and offered to send the bible to me or scan the relevant images. I opted for the latter as my children say I already have too much clutter.
For the record as far as I know Walter Charles MAILES and Lili Rose MAILES never left the UK. They are not related to me, but they are in my Single Name Study as a Buckinghamshire/Essex stem of my wider family.
However, the real gem was these two black and white photographs of Walter’s parents.
